Expectations
· We ask that you respect our property. Any unruly behaviour will not be tolerated. Any fenced off farm areas will be out-of-bounds.
· The wedding must be finished and packed up by midnight, last drinks and song by 11:15pm. Buses arrive at 11:15pm.
· Parking is limited. We will allow 10 cars onsite. We can put you in touch with the local Concierge Passenger service to transport your guests. Guests will park locally and can catch a shuttle up to the venue. The shuttle service on the way home will be approximately every 30 minutes from the end of your speeches and will continue until everyone has been transported back to their respective accommodation.

Venue Info
Access: The keys to the accommodation sliding door are around the back, in the firewood shed. They are hanging on a nail at eye level, on the left hand post. The venue will be unlocked at the black door next to the main barn doors.
Below are a few things to consider:
Power: the venue is off the grid so has a generator as back up. This is only to be used for charging the batteries for the venue. If you need additional power for external chillers etc you will need to provide another generator.
Wifi for venue: this is called j-net and the password is coolplace. There is only room for 5 people on this network.
Parking: We allow up to 10 cars on-site as part of the venue package. Please keep to the driveways and concrete. Under no circumstances are people to drive on the lawn as this is used for ceremonies for all our weddings and corporate events.
Farm: Remember this is a farm and there are associated risks. We have cattle (in the paddocks), calves (in the calf shed at calving season) , chickens (in chicken coop), a cat (who hunts to keep the mouse population down). The farmer/owner lives close by and will be around to monitor these animals or to help out if needed so say hi to him if you see him.
Cleaning: Please load the dishwasher with dirty dishes and unload before you leave.
When you depart please take your rubbish with you and give the house a good clean. We have guests coming in after you so we want it to look the same way you found it. Please place your recycling in the bin at the top of the driveway. The recycling is collected every second Monday. There is an orange Rodney Rubbish bag left for you in the kitchen drawer. Leave these at the top of the driveway too.
Accommodation Info
Beds: If there are 10 guests staying, the extra people need to use the 2 squabs stored under the bunk beds. Linen is provided for these mattresses. Please leave the beds made as our cleaner will sort out washing the linen.
Linen: The linen that will be provided is sheets, pillows and pillow cases, duvets and a bath towel for each guest. Please bring your own beach towel. Please do not take the bath towels to the beach. If you want any extra linen or blankets you will need to provide it yourself.
Sanitary items: As we are on a septic tank here, and at the venue please do not place any sanitary items down the toilet. Please place them in the rubbish instead.
Internal fire: This should be used in the Winter only as it gets way too hot. NO fires outside.
BBQ: This should be straight forward. Turn the gas on and get cooking.
Chickens: We have chickens out the back that lay eggs daily. If you go behind the chook house you will see a lid. Open it and collect any eggs that are there. Be careful because the fence behind you is LIVE. If you notice the chickens water is empty, please fill it up.
Spa: The spa is all go and beautifully heated to 40 degrees. Please don’t have any more than 4 people in it otherwise it will overflow and become dangerous. Throw a tablespoon full of chlorine in once you’ve used it. Please don’t put sandy feet in the spa.
TV: This is a smart TV. Use the remotes to get it going.
Accommodation Wifi: This is called v-net and the password is password20.
Private areas: You will note that some doors and cupboards to additional rooms and the garage are locked. Please respect this.
